Regular readers will recall the post we did a few years ago about the awesome sex scenes in Kabuki Love Hotel featuring the likes of Korean actress Lee Eun-woo and Japanese actress Aoba Kawai.

We stumbled upon another example of Aoba Kawai getting nude for a role.

This time it is My Man (Watashi no Otoko), released in 2014, and co-starring Tadanobu Asano.

The main female star is actually Fumi Nikaido, who has a sex scene but without nudity. If you want to Nikaido nude, you will have to watch River’s Edge, though even in that movie the most impressive sex scenes and nudity comes from a co-star, Shiori Doi.

Aoba Kawai, who is now 38 years old, is shown in the film nude on a bed, having sex with Tadanobu Asano. We see her naked butt and breasts. The shot of her back, covered in whip (?) marks, being kissed and licked is quite sensual and hot. While they have sex, their bodies are reflected in the mirror behind.

Nikaido’s sex scene with Tadanobu Asano is stranger. They end up covered in blood and with her bra still on.

The 34-year-old Yu Aoi announced her shock marriage in the summer of last year to comedian Ryota Yamasato, aka Yama-chan. The unexpected union of one of the prettiest and most popular actresses with a famous comedian not at all known for his good looks or charm with the ladies took the country by surprise.

Notwithstanding her marriage, Aoi also continued her successful career with the release of the film Miyamoto, based on a manga, last year.

In it, Aoi has a nude sex scene with co-star Sosuke Ikematsu. She shows off her naked butt and a bit of her chest as he has sex with her from behind, though her breasts are effectively covered by her arms. It’s not awesome but it’s also worth a look.

The shot of her ass is actually not that flattering. We were expecting a different kind of rear but there you are. Beggars and choosers, and getting what you wished for and all that.

We think this is Yu Aoi’s first actually nude scene (correct us in the comments if we are wrong!), though she has done sex scenes before and semi-nude photo shoots. That said, her latest role in Romance Doll looks promising.

Incidentally, Sosuke Ikematsu previously had nude sex scenes with the lovely Yui Ichikawa.

Now available on Amazon Prime in Japan, No Longer Human was released in 2019 and stars Shun Oguri.

The R15-rated film is ostensibly not based on the eponymous novel by Osamu Dazai but on his actual life, particularly his lovers, though the originally novel is also autobiographical.

Fumi Nikaido plays the protagonist’s latest lover, a young war widow called Tomie Yamazaki. She has a sex scene where she shows off her breasts, which Dazai ravenously licks and kisses. This follows Nikaido’s recent appearance in River’s Edge and its nude scenes.

Dazai would eventually drown himself (with Yamazaki) at the age of 38 after finishing No Longer Human.

Dazai’s other lover, Shizuko Ota, is played by Erika Sawajiri — she of the recent drug scandal that ended her career and the alleged contract with her ex-husband determining how much sex they could have per month.

She shows off her naked back and breasts in a couple of scenes. Ota bore Dazai a child.

Incidentally, the film is directed by Mika Ninagawa, who made Helter-Skelter with Sawajiri (and which featured a great nude sex scene).

Rie Miyazawa plays Dazai’s long-suffering wife in the film.

In Between Men and the Gods, actress Mitsue Banzai has a wild sex scene that shows off her energy that we all wish we could be on the receiving end of.

Born in Hokkaido and now aged 30, Mitsue Banzai appears in Eiji Uchida’s 2018, Tanizaki-inspired film in a supporting (yet very memorable) role.

She is shown sitting in the lap of a man, bouncing up and down on his manhood rigorously while he sucks her nipples. Shen then rides him energetically in the cowgirl position. This is all shown wide so that you get a full view of her whole body.

Strangely, another man is watching proceedings from behind throughout and eventually comes over to pull her into a pose. Talk about interrupting the action. We hope that never happens to us just when we are getting going.

We previously blogged about the explicit sex scenes in the film It Feels So Good (Kako no Futari) but came across better-quality images, so we wanted to showcase the film again.

As readers may recall, It Feels So Good stars Kumi Takiuchi and is also known in English as Lovers at the Crater. It was released last year in Japan to great acclaim.

Perhaps the best sex scene sees the two lovers start to have sex in a doorway, with the man penetrating Takiuchi from behind. They then continue on a bed, with her riding him and then sucking him off when he finishes.

Another scene sees them lie in bed next to each other, masturbating one another.

In another, they have sex on a table.

In yet another, they sit next to each other in bed and she starts to jerks him off and then begins to give him oral sex.

There are numerous other scenes that unfold in beds, in a bath, and beyond. Takiuchi does full-frontal nudity (not censored in these images taken from the overseas release) and the film bravely and refreshingly also does not shy away from showing the mechanics of sex, including cunnilingus, unprotected sex, and cleaning up cum.

Takiuchi also did several nude sex scenes in the film Side Job, which fans will definitely want to check out.

Not to be confused with the comedy-action movie starring Bruce Willis, Red, known as Shape of Red in English, came out earlier this year in Japan.

The R15-rated film stars Satoshi Tsumabuki and Kaho. Based on a novel by the award-winning writer Rio Shimamoto, Shape of Red is an erotic story with several appropriately sensual scenes involving the leads. We particularly like the toe-licking scene.

For a film about adultery and whose female director said is showing what women really want, the depiction of the affair is suitably focused on Kaho and not filtered through the male gaze that films with erotic themes typically labor under.

Sorry for the small and poor-quality nature of the images. We hope to get better screen grabs at a later date and do an update here or in a fresh post.

Following Earthquake Bird and The Forest, the latest American movie set in Tokyo is the recently released Lost Girls and Love Hotels.

Here’s the official blurb:

The psychological drama does not, sadly, feature a Japanese actress in nude sex scenes, but fans of Alexandra Daddario are in for a treat. (Anyone seeking the former should check out Shiori Doi’s stunning sex scenes in River’s Edge or Korean actress Lee Eun-woo’s explicit scene in Kabukicho Love Hotel.)

The American star is shown in several nude sex scenes that take place, of course, in the titular love hotels. A few highlights are included below.

The movie is a pretty cliched take on Tokyo, full of dark sex, damaged women tropes, and sleazy love hotel rooms lit in red tones. The reality of love hotels is, as we know, much more mundane and they focus increasingly on amenities and freebies aimed at young women.

Alexandra Daddario shows off her butt and breasts in the scenes in the film, which is also unafraid of indulging in that other Japanese film cliche of the dark and mysterious gangster with tattoos all over his body.

The actress Mao Miyaji is to release a new photo book, her first in 10 years.

“Aisansan” (roughly, Bright Encounter) comes out at the end of December, with preview shots already published in the weekly magazine Friday.

Now aged 36 and entering jukujo (MILF) territory, Mao Miyaji is something of an industry veteran.

After a string of major roles on TV in the 2000s, her career has been quieter for several years. She married a man seven years her senior in 2017.

She has done semi-nude photo shoots before (like below), where she showed off her slender body and butt, though her breasts were nominally covered.

“Aisansan” is rumored to be her first topless photo shoot.

Still, we have seen her D-cup breasts before in the nude sex scenes she has done for movies like Yoake made hanasanai (I won’t let go until morning) in 2018.

Miyaji has said that “Aisansan” will be her final nude shoot.

We have long been an admirer of the actress of 33-year-old Yuki Sakurai, a feeling seriously amplified after we saw her lengthy and explicit sex scene in Call Boy that we blogged about just over a year ago.

We mentioned at the time her previous sex scenes in a film called The Limit of Sleeping Beauty (2017).

We have finally gotten around to looking at this properly and wanted to showcase some of the highlights.

Yuki Sakurai, who plays a magician’s assistant, is nude in several scenes from this somewhat peculiar film, showing off her butt, breasts, and pale, slim body.

There is a particularly good scene on a bed where she sits in the lap of a man as they have sex, her perky nipples on firm display. He is also shown going down on her and, inevitably, sucking and licking her nipple.

There is also a lesbian kissing scene between Sakurai and another woman in a club.

Readers with longer memories might recall Yumi Ishikawa, the former nude model who launched a highly publicized campaign against footwear discrimination in Japan. She also has a nude sex scene in the film where a man has sex with her on a sofa while Yuki Sakurai watches.

Back in those glorious pre-COVID days of 2015, we wrote about this awesome South Korean movie called The Purpose of Reunion and its amazing sex scenes with Kim Yoo-yeon.

It took us a while but we finally came across some decent screen grabs from the sequel, The Purpose of Reunion 2, and wanted to share with readers. It’s been a while since we saw a decent erotic Korean film but they do still exist.

The Purpose of Reunion 2 was released in 2017.

Star Ji Eun-seo is nude in a very revealing bath-tub sex scene.

Another actress (name unknown), who is surprisingly voluptuous for this sort of movie, is also shown nude in a sex scene where he butt cheeks and breasts get a great squeeze.

The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese is a boys’ love (yaoi) manga by Setona Mizushiro. A live-action film version was released in Japan in 2020.

It stars Tadayoshi Okura and Ryo Narita in the lead roles. It is directed by Isao Yukisada, who also made River’s Edge, which had great nude sex scenes with Fumi Nikaido and Shiori Doi.

Naturally, given the subject matter, much of the film focuses on the gay relationship between the two men, but there is one nude sex scene with a female actor.

It’s with Noriko Kijima, who is no stranger to filming nude scenes in several films. She shows off her breasts in the sex scene and her lover sucks her nipple greedily.

The up-and-coming Honami Sato also features in her underwear in a bed scene, giving a hint of the rocking body she has. Sadly, though the scene takes place in a love hotel, she stays under the sheets. We have to content ourselves with a bit of her nude back and a flash of side-boob.

Kyoko Hinami (日南響子) really should be more famous than she is.

We hope to make a small contribution to fixing this injustice by showcasing her nude scene from the Sion Sono film The Forest of Love: Deep Cut, the seven-episode miniseries that is an extended version of The Forest of Love. Both were released on Netflix in late 2019.

In the scene, Hinami is nude except for panties, and her slim body and attractive breasts are on full display.

By Sono’s standards, which we have introduced before, it’s relatively tame but we certainly aren’t complaining.

The slinky actress and gravure model is a true hottie. Regular readers may remember her from a post way back in early 2015.

The 27-year-old Hinami, who is also a singer, has also done nude shoots before, though the nudity was more artistic than explicit.

She also did a gravure shoot for Weekly Playboy this week, her first such shoot in around six years. She hasn’t abandoned her roots!

Netflix continues to invest in ambitious and provocative Japanese dramas and take content risks no mainstream broadcaster in the country would dare.

After its wild success with the suitably nude bonanza that was The Naked Director, now comes the lesbian road movie Ride or Die, starring Kiko Mizuhara and Honami Sato, and released by Netflix on April 15. Its nude scenes are probably the most anticipated in Japan so far this year.

There is some impressive girl-on-girl action in the movie, where you get to see quite a lot of Kiko’s and Honami’s naked breasts and backs as they explore each other’s bodies. There is a fair amount of fingering, nipple-licking, and cunnilingus performed by both ladies. A warning, though: the film features a storyline involving domestic violence, so Honami Sato’s body is bruised.

The film is based on a manga and is directed by Ryuichi Hiroki, who is known for his erotic fare like Kabukicho Love Hotel (whose awesome nude sex scenes we showcased before)e and Vibrator.

Kiko Mizuhara — sporting dyed red hair for her role this time — is no stranger to controversy and has frequently posed for erotic (and occasionally outlandish) shoots, including nude ones. Her acting career, though, has been a tamer affair for the most part, but we suspect she hopes to raise the stakes a bit with this starring role. Either way, we are pretty sure these is her first nude scenes (let us know in the comments if we’re wrong).

Honami Sato was previously featured on this blog with her sexy bed scene in The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese.

The acclaimed actress Noriko Eguchi, who turns 40 this month, is known for her tough demeanor and her serious role but that doesn’t mean she’s averse to rewarding fans with nude scenes.

We did a little delving and came up with these two decent examples. Our apologies for the quality of the screen grabs.

In the period piece One Woman and the War (2012), based on the novel by Ango Sakaguchi, she has a sex scene in a kimono on the floor. Her partner undoes the yukata, revealing Noriko’s breasts and bush. Hmm . . . sex on tatami mats? We know from experience it’s hot but it’s not so comfortable. Roll out the futon!

In Moon and Cherry (2004), right at the start of her film career, she has a sex scene on a bed in which she strips off and then rides a man as well as shots of her breasts while they hold each other in bed.

While we have eagerly watched and covered the content Netflix has made in Japan, not least the TV series The Naked Director, which lived up to its title, and the recent lesbian road movie Ride or Die, which featured amazing sex scenes with Kiko Mizuhara, we also want to pay attention to the other Asian content being produced.

Our eye was caught by the Chinese-Taiwanese mystery movie The Soul (Ji hun), which stars Anke Sun and was released globally in mid-April.

Anke Sun does full-frontal nudity in it. Although the scene is sadly not a sex scene, she walks fully around nude in a room and look at her naked body in some mirrors. The bush may or may not be a merkin. We get some nice shots of her breasts, butt, and overall slim body.

Anke Sun has previously starred in the TV series Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty.

The busty gravure idol Rio Teramoto (寺本莉緒) has stripped for a scene in the new Xstream46 movie Welcome to the Toei Murder Studio (ようこそ東映殺影所へ), which is streaming in Japan since last week.

In the 46-minute low-budget horror, Teramoto is shown stripping off for an older guy watching her in a chair.

If you’re a fan of the 19-year-old gradol, don’t get totally excited just yet. The scene is great but stops at her nude back. This is sexy enough, for sure, but we’d love to have seen the front and it’s a shame that she keeps her panties on. It’s also possible that it’s a body double.

We will have to console ourselves with a long and lingering look at her past bikini shoots.

The show co-stars fellow gravure idol Nashiko Momotsuki and former Morning Musume idol Haruka Kudo. Along with Teramoto, the three play idols who aren’t popular and whose careers are stalling. They visit a film studio and all kinds of crazy stuff happens.

Teramoto spends the film partly getting scared and sweaty in a nurse costume, which is almost as nice as seeing her nude back.

The 2018 Japanese movie Still Life of Memories didn’t make much of a splash when it was first released and we are finally catching up with it now. The somewhat peculiar plot is about a love triangle that emerges between a photographer, played by Masanobu Ando, and his younger girlfriend (Rima Matsuda, b. 1994) and a jukujo museum curator (Natsuko Haru, b. 1983), who asks the photographer to take pictures of her most intimate body parts.

Yes, this is one of those little films that looks certain to cement the reputation that Japanese have internationally for perversion — and Japanese women, in particular, for being kinky and weird. Well, let’s be frank, this blog has hardly done much to challenge that over the years.

Most of the nudity involves scenes where the curator poses for Ando, who takes close-up photographs of her genitalia between her legs. This inevitably develops into a sexual relationship. Haru, also known as Natsuko Kobayashi, is nude in several extensive scenes where she shows off her bush, butt hole, and ample breasts.

The best nude scenes, though, feature the lovely Rima Matsuda, who does full-frontal nudity in two scenes. Her explicit nudity includes a great scene in the bath, where she lies naked in the water as she is fingered by her lover.

There is also a burlesque scene in a strip club featuring Misato Arima, who briefly shows her breasts.

There’s that cliche about aging like a fine wine but for some women, it really is true.

A model like Nana Eikura, for instance, we can remember from her early career when she was a teenaged model. Cute, for sure, but she is way hotter now that she is a married young mother in her thirties.

Taking things (quite) a bit further (chronologically speaking), we have just found out that Narimi Arimori (有森也実) is to release her first photo book in 19 years.

At the ripe age of 53, the actor poses in lingerie for her fourth photo book, “prayer,” which comes out in Japan on October 22.

We imagine that things look a bit different up-close, but the preview pictures show off Arimori’s still-graceful legs and beautifully pale skin.

Arimori, who is unmarried, has posed for nude shoots before (but not full-frontal nudity) and done nude sex scenes in her past film roles — including one memorable role from 2013 (she was in her mid-forties) in the The Perfect Education pink film series co-starring Reisa Maekawa.

She also posed for an alluring semi-nude shoot for tabloid Weekly Gendai back in February. Entering her fifties has clearly not put a dent in her confidence or awareness of her inherent sex appeal.

It’s official. Kumi Takiuchi has replaced Mugi Kadowaki as the most interesting female actor in Japan right now who is willing to do nude scenes.

Though some will do nude sex scenes at the start of their careers (case in point, Yuriko Yoshitaka) or if trying to reboot their careers (case in point, Yuka Masuda), most actresses in Japan (or at least, their agencies) stick to tamer roles.

Not so Kumi Takiuchi, who has already done impressive sex scenes in Side Job and It Feels So Good.

Her latest role is in the movie Ura Aka: L’Adventure, a small independent film that did not gain much attention on its release in 2021.

It’s technically a pink film, forming the ninth entry in the long-running Perfect Education series of erotic/softcore movies.

In the film, Takiuchi plays Machiko, the manager of a clothes shop in Aoyama, central Tokyo, and who turns to sex to spice her dull life.

There is a nude scene in front of a mirror. In one of the sex scenes, a man has sex with Takiuchi from behind (up against a floor-to-ceiling window) while filming the action.

Another scene has Takiuchi receiving head on a table before they have sex.

The film also stars the model Sumire.

Busty gravure idol and actress Asuka Oda (小田飛鳥) released a new photo book — her fourth — in the summer.

We are just catching up with some of the developments we missed and decided also to check out her sex scenes in the film Anticipation (2019).

The movie features some great shots of her large breasts and pert nipples, including a sex scene in which she rides a man. In another scene, her breasts are exposed from under her shirt while her skirt is pushed up and a man fingers her aggressively.

Anticipation, which is about an older man’s sexual relationship with a young woman (played by Oda), also stars Sari Kato, sometimes described as the Japanese Paris Hilton.

31-year-old Oda’s new photo book apparently has full-frontal nudity (“hair nude”), though it seems to have made little impression on the interwebs. Perhaps it’s because her earlier photo books were already so provocative and she has done nude shoots for the gravure magazines showing off her butt, plus the recent sex scenes in Anticipation meant there was little left to see.
